- RESEARCH AND PLAN: Thoroughly research your industry, target market, competitors, and financial projections. This will help you create a well-thought-out business plan, which can help reduce uncertainty. I can’t stress this enough. The more you know, the more expert you will be.
- GET SUPPORT: Seek out a mentor, business coach or join a community of entrepreneurs. Surrounding yourself with people who understand your fears and can provide guidance and support can help you overcome your anxiety. One of the best things I’ve done in life was hiring a Life Coach. Sometimes having a different perspective and having someone to push you will create all the confidence you need.
- START SMALL: Consider starting your business as a side hustle. This can help you build confidence, gain experience, and test the viability of your business idea before committing full-time.
- TAKE ACTION: Overcoming fear requires taking action. Break down your business goals into smaller, achievable steps and start working towards them. Celebrate small wins along the way. Action is where the money is at.
